Nelumbo Property Consultants CC is a results-driven property consulting firm founded by Ms. Maria Mberema, a certified Project Management professional and property specialist. The company bridges the gap between technical project execution and practical property services across Namibia’s public and private sectors.
Nelumbo is a 100% Namibian female-owned company, registered with BIPA, the Ministry of Finance, and the Social Security Commission, serving commercial, residential, and farm properties.

Comprehensive Portfolio Management
Nelumbo provides comprehensive management for commercial, residential, and farm properties including building maintenance, contract administration, evictions and collections, full service maintenance, and 24-hour emergency maintenance with licensed vendors.
Financial oversight is managed using Sage Pastel Accounting, with consolidated reporting, M&E tracking, and direct deposit of rental income to owners.

Advanced Project Leadership
& Strategies
Nelumbo successfully completed the second run of the “Advanced Project Leadership and Strategies” training, hosted by NIPAM Namibia on 27–28 November 2025.
The programme covered practical tools for project planning, risk management, resource optimisation, procurement, quality assurance, and frontline leadership — delivered to operational staff through real-world case discussions and hands-on facilitation.
Mentorship & Academic Leadership
Giving Back
Nelumbo has trained over 45 aspiring real estate professionals through an independent Real Estate Mentorship Programme covering property marketing, contracts, mandates, and starting a real estate business. Research methodology mentoring has guided 79 university students, and teaching takes place at multiple tertiary institutions across Namibia.
